11/11/2018 Press Release: Trademasters Service, Inc. Receives the U.S. Department of Labor’s HIRE Vets Medallion Program Demonstration Award

What Is HIRE Vets Medallion Program?

The HIRE Vets Medallion Program is the only federal-level award for veterans’ employment. Recipients of the 2018 HIRE Vets Medallion Program Demonstration Award were evaluated on several criteria, ranging from veteran hiring and retention to providing veteran-specific resources, leadership programming, dedicated human resources, and compensation and tuition assistance programs.

The U.S. Department of Labor announced today that Trademasters Service, Inc. received the 2018 HIRE Vets Medallion Program Demonstration Award, recognizing our commitment to recruiting, hiring, and retaining veterans. Our company earned the Gold Medium Award, and is one of only 239 recipients this year. We’re proud to be recognized with this award, and hope you share in our excitement. 1/26/18 Press Release: Trademasters Recognized as ACCA 2018 Commercial Contractor of the Year

We are pleased to announce that Trademasters has been selected as the Air Conditioning Contractors of America 2018 Commercial Contractor of the Year! We are honored to be recognized by ACCA for this prestigious award, and we look forward to further advancing professionalism.

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) is the largest non-profit association of contractors serving professionals and businesses in the indoor environment and energy services community. The ACCA sets the standards for quality comfort systems, provides leading-edge education for contractors and their employees.

Dave and Beth Kyle are honored to accept the award on behalf of their entire organization on February14th at the Industry Champions session at the ACCA Annual Conference and IE3 Expo, February 12-14 in Washington, D.C.

1/22/18 Press Release: New West Point Barracks Joins Trademasters Portfolio

Trademasters has been awarded the five-year building operation and maintenance contract at the newly constructed Gen. Benjamin O. Davis Jr. Barracks at West Point Military Academy in West Point, NY. Davis Barracks is a six-story, state of the art, 287,000 square foot facility that will house some of the country’s finest military students.

The barracks are named in honor of General Benjamin O. Davis Jr., who entered West Point as a cadet in 1932. General Davis overcame discrimination and segregation to became the first officer to graduate from the Army Air Corps’ all-black flight training program, the Tuskegee Airmen. His awards include the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal for meritorious service and gallantry. In 1970, Davis retired from the Air Force as a lieutenant general, but was he recalled to active duty and promoted to General in 1998 before his passing in 2002.

As a part of the Davis Barracks contract, Trademasters has participated in the facility’s commissioning process, developed operating procedures, created short term and long-term equipment maintenance schedules, and implemented a computerized maintenance management system. Trademasters has also developed and instituted site-specific safety and training, 24/7/365 emergency response, continuity activity, and property management plans. These site-delivered services will ensure the tenants’ safety and comfort, as well as optimize the equipment’s performance, efficiency, and longevity.

Because it incorporates a variety of innovative and sustainable features throughout the facility, Davis Barracks is expected to achieve LEED Silver certification. It is Trademasters’ mission to help West Point achieve and maintain this goal through the currently contracted work, as well as in future opportunities at the Academy. Trademasters looks forward to being an integral part of the team as this transition takes place at West Point.

10/6/17 Press Release: Trademasters a FCPS Partner Award Finalist

The Foundation for Fairfax County Public Schools has selected Trademasters as a finalist for the inaugural FCPS Workforce Development Partner of the Year award. The FCPS Partner Awards honors businesses and non-profits for above-and-beyond leadership and social responsibility within the FCPS school system.

Trademasters regularly provides mentors, guest speakers, and financial support to Fairfax County Public Schools, especially Edison Academy’s HVAC program. The Edison Academy, located in Alexandria, Virginia, offers high-school students both technical and specialized courses, and encourages them to pursue opportunities that will advance their careers. Upon completion of the HVAC program, students are able to begin working for pay in the field immediately, obtain national and state professional certifications, and pursue additional education at a number of colleges and universities.

Trademasters is grateful for the recognition of the time and effort that our company and technicians pour into the students at the Edison Academy. We are excited about our partnership with the Edison Academy and appreciate the opportunity to train the next generation of HVAC tradesmen.

The FCPS Partner Award winners will be announced during the Superintendent’s Luncheon on November 20, 2017.
